What is Eggfest?

Midwest Eggfest is an annual event that celebrates the Big Green Egg...with lots of Baking, Smoking, Grilling and Eating. Since the Big Green Egg is the most Versatile grill on the market today, we will be experiencing a broad range of different Foods, Grilling Techniques, Recipes and Flavors. This event is not just for Big Green Egg owners, but anybody interested in experiencing the Big Green Egg up close and be witness the incredible mouth-watering flavors it produces. So come one, come all to this very unique event dedicated to the Big Green Egg Smoker/Grill.

Demo Eggs will be available for pre-purchase only. Demo Eggs will Include:

What to Bring

Poolside will provide several Big Green Eggs with dual metal tops, bags of charcoal, fire starters, tables. The cooks will bring the food they plan on cooking along with any cleaning supplies they might need. You may want to bring things like a pop up tent, Lawn chair, BBQ Tools (tools will be available to purchase if you forget something) cutting board, etc. If you would like to bring along your own egg please feel free to do so. The more the merrier. This event will be BYOB.

Schedule of events

Friday, September 19:  Meet and Greet

Come meet your fellow Eggers the night before Midwest Eggfest. Enjoy refreshments and appetizers as we introduce one another and set up for the next morning. If you would like to bring an appetizer you are more than welcome to do so. Hope to see you all there.

When: Friday September 19th 6:30-8:30pm

Where: Poolside (same location as the Eggfest)

Saturday, September 20

9:00 am Lighting of the EGGS (an Eggfest Tradition)

10:00-3:00 Cooking, Eating, Sharing and Having fun!!!

How to Register - Registration Form [PDF]

You can Register for Midwest Eggfest in two ways. You can attend as a spectator or participate in the cooking. If you plan to cook on one of our demo eggs fill out the bottom half of the registration form. If you want to attend and experience the egg firsthand and taste the different foods and witness different cooking techniques, fill out the top of the registration form. Whether you attend as a spectator or a participant you are in for a fun afternoon. Print out our downloadable registration form, fill it out and send it in with payment. You can register with a credit card by calling either or our stores. We take all major credit cards .Cost is  $15/person, $25/couple.  Cooks are no charge and a family of cooks is half price.
