Benefits of Covers
Swimming pools lose energy in many ways, but evaporation is the #1 source of energy loss for pools. All other energy losses are small when compared to evaporation. To combat heat loss for pools, one must use pool covers.
Poolside offers a variety of covers for your pool:
- Solar
- cover used during the swimming months to generate and keep heat in your pool.
- Water bag
- cover used during the winter to keep the water free from debris.
- Mesh Safety
- cover used primarily as a winter cover to keep out most debris.
- Auto-matic Cover
- an electric or hydraulic cover that pulls a vinyl fabric over the pool. Can be used as a winter cover, will keep in heat and chemicals, and keep out unwanted items.
